Poem
Small game about small struggles that feel big.
Poem is about learning who you are through short dialogs and objects in your room. While trying to make your character be the most ready to face the challenge of going to school.
The game has 2 endings witch I believe you'll find rather quickly.
The game is rather short art project I made for school (SŠUD Brno).
When my teacher was giving me feedback they said: " Sometimes, we can only really speak through our creations, and let the players/readers feel for us what we cannot. It´s a perfect example of a symbiosis between the creator, and the created. " so I hope you will feel what I can not.
Enjoy playing! <3

Ahh I love the design for this game! I really like the room escape-like layout (the furnishings and writings are so cute), and navigating the room with the avatar as a curser (haven't played much bitsy games, but it's the first time I came across something like this!)
Got the "holding in" ending first, and the sudden colour change really scared me, but wow, it struck close to home. I could relate to the overwhelming feeling as presented, since I'm also the type of person to hide my negative feelings until they became too much. The display was so powerful, I could feel the hurt seeping through the screen.
It makes getting the "letting yourself cry" ending so much more satisfying. Without the pressure to keep up a front, the day went surprisingly well, and it seemed like the mc found it better than usual! I couldn't 100% understand the ending bit, though, as it seemed to be written in Czech (did a rough translation via Google translate, so I get the gist of what it was trying to convey) I also enjoyed the tiny remarks from interacting with objects!
Thank you for the poem, I quite enjoyed playing it!
Thank you so much for your comment! It really means a lot for me.
Sorry about one of the endings being in czech- it's a poem I wrote in my native language and I found it hard to translate without loosing it's rythm, so I hope you got at least the point across <3
Thanks again for playing and for sutch a nice comment, makes me want to invest more time into making games <3
